Crib Bedding Sets

Those who are expecting a baby have many important decisions to make. They have to buy furniture, bedding, clothes, and decide what kinds of diapers to use. What kind of bedding to buy is an important choice, but one of many. Fortunately, there are a crib bedding sets available to simplify the choice. Parents can choose buy sets that contain matching pieces, taking some of the work out of choosing blankets. Crib bedding sets differ in their contents. Some include only the basics, mainly, a fitted sheet for covering the mattress, a flat sheet, a blanket, and maybe a pillowcase. On the other end of the scale, some will include bumpers (pads with ties that are fastened to the sides of the crib, to protect the baby from bumping its head), a dust ruffle or crib skirt that hangs off the crib for decoration, and comforters.

Other sets will be in between, so that everyone can find a set containing what they need. There are also many choices in the appearance of the bedding. Some bedding sets will be solid colors; everything will be one color or varying shades or it. Others might be patterned with strips or designs. And there are numerous choices of printed sets, with flowers, animals, or sports pictures, to name a few. Some prints are obviously intended for boys or girls, although more and more are gender-neutral. Bedding sets are most commonly cotton, as this is least likely to irritate the sensitive skin that many babies have.
